The thicker 16mm DrivePro polymer core feels smooth right out of the box. It helps our dinks stay low and controlled, our resets feel steady even under pressure and enables our blocks to absorb pace without sailing long. Yet when we step into a drive or counter, the raw carbon fiber face makes it easy to put heavy spin on the ball, keeping opponents scrambling. The foam edge barrier also earns its keep, adding stability across the hitting surface so off-center contact doesn’t punish us as much as we’d expect.

The elongated 16.5” by 7.5” shape and 5.5” handle of the Pursuit Alpha Pro 16mm still give us that same reach and two-handed flexibility as the 14mm version, but the 16mm shines when we want to dictate tempo. We can soften the game at the kitchen, then suddenly accelerate into a passing shot without feeling like we’re losing control. With its 8.0 oz weight and 4.25” handle circumference, the Pursuit Alpha Pro 16mm is a reliable partner for players who demand control when defending, resetting, and attacking.

Warranty
Engage Pursuit Alpha Pro 16mm Pickleball Paddle Technical Specifications
Average Weight: 7.8 – 8.2oz
Weight Range: 8.00 ounces
Grip Circumference: 4.25" (Medium) Actual grip sizes may vary up to 1/8"
Grip Style: Perforated, Padded
Grip Manufacturer: Engage
Handle Length: 5.5"
Paddle Length: 16.5"
Paddle Width: 7.5"
Paddle Face: Raw Carbon Fiber
Core Material: DrivePro Polymer Core, Edge Foam Barrier
Core Thickness: 16mm (0.629")
Certifications: USAP
Edge Guard: Yes
Manufacturer: Engage Pickleball
Made in China
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0788/7123/2625/files/Alpha_Pro_16mm_-_Jesse_Front__08948__08564.1756406527.jpg?v=1792881025
