Like its 14mm counterpart, it features a 16.5” elongated shape and streamlined 7.5” width, giving us the reach to pressure opponents and the maneuverability to react quickly at the net. Where this model sets itself apart is in its thicker 16mm core, which offers a softer, more controlled feel while still maintaining the stability and consistency provided by the TrueStrike Polymer Core and Engage’s Edge Foam Barrier. This extra core depth enhances touch on drops and resets, while still giving us enough pop to finish points when the opportunity arises.

The Friction Fiber Carbon Skin on the face of the Engage Alpha 16mm grips the ball for impressive spin generation, allowing us to shape passing shots and control placement during fast-paced exchanges. The 5.5” handle length works beautifully for two-handed backhands, while the perforated padded grip keeps our hold secure in long matches. From baseline drives to soft kitchen play, the Alpha 16mm transitions smoothly between power and control, making it an ideal choice for all-court players who want precision without giving up finishing ability.

Warranty
Engage Alpha 16mm Pickleball Paddle Technical Specifications
Average Weight: 7.8 – 8.2oz
Weight Range: 8.00 ounces
Grip Circumference: 4.25" (Medium) Actual grip sizes may vary up to 1/8"
Grip Style: Perforated, Padded
Grip Manufacturer: Engage
Handle Length: 5.5"
Paddle Length: 16.5"
Paddle Width: 7.5"
Paddle Face: Friction Fiber Carbon Skin
Core Material: TrueStrike Polymer Core, Edge Foam Barrier
Core Thickness: 16mm (0.629")
Certifications: USAP
Edge Guard: Yes
Manufacturer: Engage Pickleball
Made in China
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0788/7123/2625/files/Pursuit_Alpha_16mm_-_Blue_Front__13133__47370.1756405831.jpg?v=1792881023
